After Woody reunites with Bo Peep in Toy Story 4, he mentioned the incinerator scene in the third film to her in the Disney+ short film, Lamp Life. I wasn’t knocked out by TOY STORY OF TERROR (nor did I dislike it), but had a great deal of fun with the more recent TOY STORY THAT TIME FORGOT (its action figures are pretty fun, too). In Toy Story 2, when the toys defeat Stinky Pete, he warned them they would all be 'ruined, forgotten, spending eternity, rotting in some landfill', and his theory turned out to be true. In Disney/Pixars 'Toy Story 3,' Andy has grown to college age and the story leaves the toys pretty much on their own. In the article, Morris also asserts that TOY STORY 4 isn’t being generated as a money grab, but instead springs from having an idea which is irresistible, and that filmmakers feel passionately about. The first two 'Toy Story' movies centered on the relationship between a boy and his toys. It will not put much focus on the interaction between the characters and children. Temporarily it is, but it will be a love story. It will be a romantic comedy. It is not a continuation of the end of the story of Toy Story 3. It is a separate story, which in turn I do not know if will be continued Speaking with Disney Latino, Pixar President Jim Morris indicates that the fourth installment won’t be a direct sequel to the first three entries, which are evidently being viewed as something of a standalone group of pictures. This is likely why the incinerator scene in Toy Story 3 is so.
